Gan Rongkun, Vice Governor of Hubei province, met with the Hungary delegation on June 17 in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, local media reported.

Gan pointed out that Hubei was the geographically center of China, just as Hungary lay in the heart of Europe. Hubei boasted a well-developed automobile industry with strong industrial supporting ability, and it was believed that both parties could reach a consensus on cooperation in this field.

Besides, Hubei wished to expand trade, increase investment and broaden cooperation fields to make more and greater achievements through joint efforts of both parties, he added.

Hungary side also expressed the hope to further cooperate with Hubei province in fields of automobile, science and education, culture, tourism and so on. (hubei.gov.cn)
