Morocco’s Tangier Science and Technology City expressed its expectation to start cooperation with the Jingmen High-tech Zone in Hubei Province, via a video dialogue on March 31.

  The Hubei-Morocco video dialogue was jointly organized by the Moroccan Embassy in China and the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province, aiming to bridge industries and market entities of both sides. The economic and commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Morocco Yang Peipei and the relevant persons in charge of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province attended the dialogue and delivered speeches.

  During the video link, Yang Peipei said that Hubei is hoped to give full play to the advantages in automotive industry and promote cooperation with Morocco in electric vehicles and other industries.

  Hubei side introduced the province’s advantages in science, education and transportation as well as its performance on post-epidemic recovery, adding that it is expected to further expand exchanges and cooperation between Hubei and Morocco.

  The Moroccan official stated that Morocco is willing to establish long-term contact with electric vehicle-related companies in Jingmen, so as to develop Morocco a significant overseas partner for the companies from Jingmen High-tech Zone.

  The attending companies also respectively presented their development prospects and overseas plans, and said that they would take Morocco as an important stop while going global.
