The gross output of construction industry in Wuhan amounted to 1.059 trillion yuan in 2020, accounting for 65.6 percent of Hubei province’s total, an increase of 4.4 percentage points, local authorities said on January 22.

  Wuhan's construction industry saw V-shaped recovery in 2020. The city has rebounded with strong resilience and vitality since construction and production gradually returned to normalcy. The construction industry achieved positive growth throughout the year, with a year-on-year rise of 2.1 percent.

  The labor productivity of Wuhan's construction industry maintained growth momentum. The per capita output value of construction industry was 162,900 yuan, an increase of 17.6 percent compared with the previous year.
