On July 31, the trains of China-Europe Railway Express departed from the Wujiashan Station in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, bound for Duisburg, Germany.

The 50 multimodal freight trains, loaded with electronic components, beverages, food and electromechanical products shipped from Wuhan, the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, will complete the journey within 21 to 22 days. Then, some of trains and cargo will be transferred from Duisburg to London for the first time, marking the extension of Wuhan railway logistics in Europe.

In the future, it will offer delivery service throughout the UK as well as bridge the region’s economic trade with China.（hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
