Public Conveniences Installation of Payment Barriers

The works will comprise the supply and installation of payment barriers complete with coin collection units and any necessary side infill panels. Vacuum / sweep and mop vehicles, clean mirrors, clean all stainless steel both inside the cars and externally, wet vacuum driver seat (when requested), clean all windows both inside and out, full clean of all other hard interior.

On average 360 vehicles to be cleaned twice monthly.

TfL/DWfL 01- Delivery of Gold and Procurement Standard Accreditations

An independent accreditation company needs to be procured to undertake accreditations against the Diversity Works for London(DWfL), Gold and Procurement Standards. The supplier will be tasked to undertake a series of small scale pilots across GLA group suppliers and London Borough suppliers. We aim to pilot the Procurement Standard with approximately 100 businesses. The businesses participating in the Procurement Standard pilot will be initially contacted and briefed by DWfL before being referred to the accreditation provider. The accreditation provider will not be required to generate new leads or accreditation opportunities. The outcome of the pilot will inform our approach to further roll out of the Procurement Standard.

Supported Housing Services for People with Mental Health Problems – Notice Only

The City Council wishes to procure a new contract to deliver a supported housing service for people with mental health problems at two premises. One of these will be a 14 bed unit for people with high support needs and the other a 12 bed unit for people with medium support needs. The two services will be delivered together as a step down mini cluster model with service users moving from the high support scheme to the medium support scheme at an appropriate time. The schemes are located in the wards of Westbourne and Little Venice in the north-west of Westminster. The medium support scheme is an existing service that is coming to the end of its contract period. The high support service is currently a vacant property that was previously a children’s home. It is intended that the high support scheme is filled with service users currently placed in high cost out of borough residential placements. This will generate significant savings to the City Council and will place these people in accommodation that will better deliver recovery outcomes.
