Sponsored by Hubeiprovincial government, CCPIT Hubei and KenyaInvestment Authority, the 2016 Kenya- Hubei China Trade and Investment Seminar was successfully held in Nairobi on December 1st. 30 Hubei companies were present in the seminar.They are mainly in the industries of equipment manufacturing, electronicinformation, agro food, light industry and building materials, automobile andchemistry. Over 210 people from the Economic and Commercial Counselors Officeof the Embassy of China in Kenya,Kenya Investment Authority, Sino African Development Fund and the KenyaOverseas Chinese Association, Kenyacompanies and the Hubeidelegation were present at the seminar. Du Haiyang, deputy mayor of Shiyan citywas the emcee. In the seminar, chair woman Zhou Caijuan made a warm speech; GuoCe, the commercial counselor of the Economic and Commercial Counselors Office of the Embassy of China in Kenya highly acknowledged the courage of Hubei province ofbravely exploring international market. Dr. Moses M.lkiara, director of Kenya Investment Authority made a special introduction in Kenya’sinvestment environment. CCPIT Hubei signed a MOU with Kenya InvestmentAuthority and awarded the plate of Kenya Branch of CCOIC Hubei Chamber of Commerce to Golden Lion International Ltd. Companies from both sides held aone-on-one business meeting.
